1. Identity comes first
A user can enter a StarDrive AI account with email/password or Google identity. That proves who is signing in; it does not automatically grant the workspace access to every site in that Google account.
2. The customer selects the property
The connection flow should list the properties available to the customer and make them choose the site that belongs to this workspace. A hidden shared default is difficult to explain and easy to scope incorrectly.
3. The API supplies the measurement loop
Once authorized, the workspace can use permitted query, page, country, device and date-window data to support reporting and refresh decisions. The product should show connection state and last sync time rather than implying that a link click alone is the data.
4. Measurement returns to the next task
The point of the connection is not a standalone chart. It is to help the team decide whether a published page is stable, improving, declining or ready for a refresh task.
